We're a little less than a month away from the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder and you can now get tickets to see the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel! A new trailer for the MCU film has just been dropped to announce its ticket sales and it features the God of Thunder forming a Super Group with his Super Friends!
The new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer opens with Thor revealing to the other gods that a "maniac" (that's Gorr the God Butcher) is out to destroy them all. "We must do something," he declares.
So what's the "something" that the God of Thunder decides to do? He decides to put together "the greatest team ever." This would include Korg, Valkyrie, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jane "the old ex-girlfriend" Foster, who is now the Mighty Thor. Needless to say, it's a Super Group that could (and hopefully, would) defeat the God Butcher.
It's awesome to learn more about what we could expect in Thor: Love and Thunder. Hopefully, we'll get more teasers in the future that don't exactly spoil everything about the film.
Thor: Love and Thunder is directed by Taika Waititi and follows Thor as he attempts to find inner peace. However, he is forced to return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster—who has become the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods.
The film brings back Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who has undergone a dramatic change since we last saw her in Thor: The Dark World. But how exactly did Jane go from being a brilliant scientist to becoming the Mighty Thor? We'll find out later in July.
Tickets for Thor: Love and Thunder are now on sale and can be purchased here. The film will hit theaters on July 8, 2022.
