With Disney+ moving forward with Marvel shows like She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel, we have a small update on another miniseries in the works, Moon Knight.

According to The DisInsider, The Witcher and Originals writer Beau DeMayo has joined the writing staff for the upcoming Marvel show. DeMayo himself had announced it by changing his bio on Twitter:

DeMayo doesn't have that much titles under his belt, but he was in charge of the script for the Betrayer Moon episode of The Witcher; one of the less terrible episodes if you ask me. He has also written 23 episodes of The Originals, so I guess you could say he has experience when it comes to writing creatures of the night.

Besides DeMayo, we know that the series will be executive produced by Umbrella Academy's Jeremy Slater. We don't know what kind of tone they're aiming for with the show, but seeing as a lot of people usually joke at Moon Knight for being a Batman ripoff, I'm sure Marvel will try its best to give us something completely different.

We don't have any casting news for Moon Knight yet, but a rumor is going around that Daniel Radcliffe is being eyed for the lead. With Radcliffe taking on zanier roles since Harry Potter, I would love to see his take on an mentally unstable Marc Spector.

No release date has been set for Moon Knight, but you can catch the first Marvel miniseries, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+ this fall.
