The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus is Ghost Rider in Fantastic MCU Art

A lot of comic book fans have been clamoring for The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus to be involved in another huge media franchise and it almost sounds criminal how the actor has not been asked to star in either a Marvel Cinematic Universe or DC Extended Universe project. Well, technically, he's already no stranger to the world of superheroes, and to those unaware, he already starred in two separate Marvel projects in the past.

Reedus played a supporting role in Blade II as Scud and also voiced Frank Castle aka The Punisher in the 2013 animated film Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore. Now, if you've ever wondered what role would fit him should he actually join the MCU, digital artist @britedit unveiled his latest piece on Instagram depicting the Daryl Dixon actor as Ghost Rider. The artist didn't exactly specify which iteration of the Marvel hero it is but we'll just assume that it's Johnny Blaze aka the original "King of Hell". Check it out here:

As exciting as that sounds, the thing is Reedus isn't getting any younger and the folks over at Marvel Studios should definitely go out of their way and cast him in the billion-dollar franchise. Norman Reedus in the MCU just sounds like a match made in heaven and I'm hopeful that it's not too late. Obviously, the studio would much prefer to cast a younger actor to play Ghost Rider in the franchise but I wouldn't mind seeing "Daryl" become a villain in the Marvel Universe.

Speaking of the MCU, Loki is now streaming on Disney+.
