The Walking Dead is heading toward its finale as it returns for the final season. However, fans should expect a major dispute between Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).
Maggie And Daryl Will Have A Major Conflict In The Walking Dead Season 11
Maggie and her group are planning to invade Meridian with an army of undead. Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) as a member of Maggie's group will be part of it and he makes a request to Maggie. He wants to kill the Reaper who killed his sister to avenge the latter's death. Maggie agrees but the situation is more complicated than what it seems, according to Screen Rant.
Daryl has been inducted as a member of the Reaper, but he is planning to betray them down the line. However, he is hoping to still have his lover Leah (Lynn Collins) by his side and take her away from Pope (Ritchie Coster).
But the outlet speculated that the Reaper that Elijah wants to kill is Leah. He was thinking that the Reaper is a boy. However, he didn't see the face of the Reaper who killed his sister because the Reaper was wearing a mask.
The outlet noted that the majority of the Reapers are mere background except for Pope and Leah as they are the only two given screen time.
Maggie has her own sights on Pople after he marked her. And with Pope being ruled out, Leah is the only Reaper that Elijah is after. A war between Elijah and Leah could translate into a major conflict between Maggie and Daryl.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 7 Recap: Maggie And Negan Strike A deal
Maggie and Pope both want to protect their people and they are both eager to take vengeance. Maggie is already prepping by taking notes from Alpha and the Whisperers.
In Episode 7 Promises Broken, Maggie talks with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the leader of the Saviors. Both lead their groups and Neegan shared some tips with her on how to be a good Whisperer. The episode left the audience with an image of masked Maggie marching with her own horde.
Although Maggie and Negan remain at odds, they have the same mission — to protect their people no matter what it takes. Initially, he threatens to abandon Maggie's suicide mission to reach Meridian but ends up striking a deal with her if he stays and fights with them to make them even.
They shake hands but one still has to look out what will happen to them next as the episode is titled "Promises Broken."
The Walking Dead Season 11 airs Sunday on AMC.
