The Uncanny Counter is an enjoyable show to watch. After two seasons of the show, many can't help but wonder: Is there romance in The Uncanny Counter?

If you are thinking the same thing, here's an explainer of all the possible romantic pairings in the show.

One of the possible romances to have happened in the show is between Ga Mo-tak (played by Yoo Jun-sang) and Kim Jeong-yeong (played by Choi Yoon-young) in season one.

The two were actually in a relationship before Mo-tak got into an accident and lost his memory. By the time he remembered what happened to him in the past, he only had a short chance to be with Jeong-yeong again.

This is because Jeong-yeong was murdered in her car while waiting for Mo-tak.

Choi Jang-mul and Chu Mae-ok

Also in the first season, billionaire playboy, Choi Jang-mul (played by Ahn Suk-hwan), confessed his love for Chu Mae-ok (played by Yeom Hye-ran).

The two went on a date in the finale of the first season. Unfortunately, the relationship between the two was not clarified in the second season.

While they don't really show any romantic gestures between the two, they get paired a lot. It's possible that they are already in a relationship but are being mature about it.

So Mun and Do Ha-na

It's no secret that So Mun (played by Jo Byeong-kyu) had a major crush on Do Ha-na (played by Kim Se-jeong) when he first met her. And in the first season, there were some indications that the two could be another possible love interest in the show.

But when the second season came along, all hopes for shipping the two have since been crushed. This is because Ha-na and Mun have gotten friendly with each other.

The two could already be seeing each other as siblings instead of potential partners, which is what the original source material depicted.

Na Jeok-bong and Do Ha-na

In the second season of the show, we meet Na Jeok-bong (played by Yoo In-soo), a simpleton looking for a wife. When he first meets Ha-na, he gets smitten.

Of course, Ha-na doesn't let him get too close to her. This doesn't stop him though since he wants to show Ha-na why he's a better pick than anyone else.

Check out this clip of Jeok-bong getting jealous of Ha-na's date:

While everyone seems to be in love with Ha-na, no one is able to get close to her-- no one except Park Do-hwi (played by Seo Byeok-joon). Do-hwi is Ha-na's first love.

Apparently, when Ha-na was in a coma, Do-hwi continued to visit her in the hospital. When Ha-na became a Counter, Do-hwi didn't get a chance to say goodbye.

Their chance meeting opened up the potential for a romantic development between the two.

But as time went on, the evil spirits were able to use this relationship as an advantage. Do-hwi almost lost his life after Gelly (played by Kim Hieora) attacked him. As a result, Ha-na decided to erase her from his memories to protect him.

In the season finale of season two, shippers were in for a treat when Do-hwi seemed to remember Ha-na.

Another possible couple that could become a thing in the future is So Mun and Jade (played by Angelina Danilova).

The character was introduced towards the end of season 2. She was revealed to be the daughter of Mun's Yung partner, Wi-gen (played by Moon Sook).

Hopefully, we'll know more about Jade in the next season. But for now, we'll have to keep guessing which of these couples will become a thing in the third season.
