A lot of you may have already forgotten about it but before Elliot Page became part of the universally beloved Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, he was once part of Fox's X-Men film franchise. A few months after first coming out as gay in early 2014, Elliot made her final appearance as Kitty Pryde in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

These days, Elliot is gearing up for the final season of The Umbrella Academy, and in case you were wondering what's next for the actor, it looks like he's coming home to the franchise that pretty much made her a household name in Hollywood.

The folks over at Giant Freakin Robot report that the Victor Hargreeves actor is being wooed by Marvel Studios to join the billion-dollar franchise. Details surrounding his potential Marvel Cinematic Universe casting weren't disclosed but the outlet speculates that the 35-year-old star could be playing the obscure Marvel hero Machine Man X-51 aka Aaron Stack.

Considering Netflix is currently working on the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy, it would be safe to assume that Elliot will be free to do other projects once he finishes work on the series. The idea of him rejoining the MCU doesn't seem out of the question but personally, I'd like to see them take on a different role. I won't even mind if Elliot joins the X-Men reboot just for that full-circle moment.

All three seasons of The Umbrella Academy are available to stream on Netflix.
