The successful UK drama is set to return for The Tourist Season 2 with some fresh faces on board. The series, produced by Two Brothers Pictures and created by Jack and Harry Williams, drew in a large audience during its first run, both in the UK and globally.
As previously announced, the show will shift locations, moving from the Australian Outback to Ireland, where new characters will be introduced to join star Jamie Dornan.

The Tourist Season 2 Cast Expansion and Returning Characters
The Tourist’s new cast additions, as reported by Variety, include Conor MacNeill, Olwen Fouéré, Mark McKenna, Diarmaid Murtagh, Nessa Matthews, and Francis Magee. Dornan will reprise his role as Elliot, an amnesia-afflicted car crash victim from Northern Ireland who is still struggling to uncover the truth about his past.
The actor expressed his excitement about the upcoming season, saying, “I can’t wait for audiences to see how well Ireland and its characters are utilized to keep them guessing as the tale progresses.”
Surprises and Romance
The first season of The Tourist kept audiences on edge, and according to Dornan, it was this characteristic that drew him to the show. In the previous season, Elliot needed the help of Constable Helen Chambers (Danielle Macdonald) to figure out his identity, and the finale saw the two seemingly on good terms.
The Tourist Season 2 will see the pair heading to Ireland, where they will confront their demons and get entangled in a rivalry between the McDonnell family and the Cassidys. Fans are hoping to see some of the romantic tension between Elliot and Helen rekindled.

Greg Larsen will return as Ethan Krum, joining the cast alongside Dornan and the new additions. The Tourist is directed by Fergus O’Brien, Lisa Mulcahy, and Kate Dolan, with Alex Mercer producing. Executive producers include Harry and Jack Williams, Daniel Walker, Sarah Hammond, Nawfal Faizullah, and Dornan.
