The Suicide Squad Star Margot Robbie Confirms Pirates of the Caribbean Reboot Involvement

It looks like the Pirates of the Caribbean reboot has indeed found its star in Margot Robbie. The Suicide Squad actress has just confirmed her involvement in the upcoming Disney flick and even teased on what fans can look forward to in the project.

Robbie is currently promoting her new drama Dreamland but she was also happy to talk about her upcoming projects. While speaking to Yahoo, the Birds of Prey star was asked for updates on the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie and she admitted that it's going to have plenty of action.

"Lots of girl power," Robbie stated. She then added that she isn't supposed to discuss the film just yet but is already looking forward to working with Christina Hodson.

"No, it's too early to talk about it. I love Christina, obviously. I'm not a producer on Pirates, so I'll sit back and kind of wait for the process," Robbie said. "We're really, really excited at the prospect of adding obviously a very key female element to that world."

Although Robbie isn't producing, it's safe to say that she will be playing the lead character in the reboot. Needless to say, we can't wait to see her in action soon.
