The Suicide Squad Roll Call Reveals Every Character You Never Guessed

Have you been wondering about who will be playing who in The Suicide Squad? Fear not, because the official roll call is finally here and it confirms that nobody guessed anything right other than King Shark's voice.

The Suicide Squad roll call was the first thing that James Gunn unveiled at the film's DC FanDome panel. It starts off with Viola Davis' Amanda Waller telling Task Force X exactly what she's already said before. "You know the deal, successfully complete the mission, you get 10 years off your sentence," she says. But who is she saying it to?

The teaser confirms that Michael Rooker has been cast as Savant while Flula Borg is playing Javelin and it was once again confirmed that David Dastmalchian is Polka-Dot Man. Daniela Melchior is playing Ratcatcher, Idris Elba is Bloodsport, and King Shark is voiced by Steve Agee. Mayling Ng has been cast as Mongal, Peter Capaldi is Thinker, Alice Braga is Solsoria while Pete Davidson is playing Blackguard.

Interestingly, Nathan Fillion will portray T.D.K, Sean Gunn is playing Weasel, and John Cena got the cool role as Peace Maker. In case you need to be reminded, Margot Robbie is still Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman is Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney is Captain Boomerang.

There are still a few mysteries as the roll call does not reveal the characters that will be played by Taika Waititi, Julio Ruiz, Tinashe Kajese, and Jennifer Holland. The panel confirmed that Storm Reid is playing Bloodsport's daughter while Juan Diego Botto is El Presidente.

The Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 6, 2021.
