Seth Rogen is set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ satirical comedy series The Studio where he will play a Hollywood executive.

Aside from starring, he also serves as the co-creator, co-executive producer, and co-director of the series. You might be wondering what Rogen's latest joint is all about. Let's explore everything we know so far.

What is Apple TV+'s The Studio All About?

According to the official logline of the series, The Studio will focus on movie studio executive Matt Remick (Rogen) as he and "his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films."

The series will give viewers a backstage look at the "power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe."

The first season will consist of 10 half-hour episodes. Rogen and his creative partner Evan Goldberg directed the pilot episode.

For the past several years, Rogen and Goldberg have been producing multiple TV series including the hit Prime Video series The Boys, which satirizes the superhero world and real-life events.

Who Stars in The Studio?

Aside from Rogen, the main cast of The Studio includes Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders.

The series will also have a star-studded lineup of guest stars which includes Bryan Cranston, Paul Dano, Zac Efron, Ron Howard, Zoe Kravitz, Anthony Mackie, Martin Scorsese, and Charlize Theron.

When is The Studio Coming Out?

The Studio will have its global premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, followed by one episode every Wednesday through May 21, 2025.

It is considered as one of Apple TV+'s major contenders in the comedy categories in the Primetime Emmy Awards next year. Considering the caliber of talent involved, we can safely say that this will have a shot for the gold.
