The Simpsons, Star Wars Rebels Revealed As Top Shows Viewers Want To Watch On Disney+

What's the most anticipated series that will be available on Disney+ this November? If your answer is one of the original Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian or the still-untitled Obi-Wan Kenobi series, you're sadly mistaken. A new report reveals that viewers are already looking forward to bingeing The Simpsons and Star Wars Rebels on the new streaming service.

The report comes from Variety which reveals that the Matt Groening series and the animated Star Wars show have topped the list of highly anticipated shows that will be available on Disney+ in the US, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. The results were confirmed by Parrot Analytics after they measured "demand expressions" through social media, photo sharing, video streaming, and blogging.

The Simpsons was acquired by Disney after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox and all seasons of the long-running animated sitcom are expected to stream on Disney+. Star Wars Rebels had a more modest run but it gained a huge fan following after airing on Disney Channel. Although Rebels has already concluded, The Simpsons has yet to pump the brakes.

In addition to The Simpsons and Rebels, people are also hoping to binge on old episodes of DuckTales and the Mickey Mouse Club.

It is important to point out that the research covered existing shows that are expected to stream on Disney+. We're not sure if Parrot Analytics is also looking into finding out which original series is the one people are most excited about, but we're ready to bet on Obi-Wan's show.

Disney+ launches on November 12.
