The Rock Hypes Up DC Fandome With Black Adam Cosplay Video

We've been waiting to see DC's Black Adam for a long time now and the fact that they got Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to star in this role will give this movie a ton of attention. The People's Champion has always been popular with fans, whether he's in movies or the WWE, so we're excited to see him flex his (huge) acting muscles for this role. For his part, The Rock sure knows how to hype up DC's Fandome event by releasing a quick cosplay TikTok.

In the video below, Dwayne teases showing us his Black Adam costume before transitioning to a number of cosplayers portraying the character. This is a fun tease and makes you want to see him as the anti-hero even more so here's hoping that Fandome makes that come true. Sure, we have some poster art that looks cool but nothing beats seeing him wear it in live-action.

Granted, we do have the comic books where this costume doesn't look as goofy but we're pretty confident that The Rock has a body to pull off Adam's outfit. If Zachary Levi can make it work, Dwayne Johnson sure as hell can.

Dwayne Johnson was actually cast for Black Adam before Zachary Levi was as Shazam so it's funny to see the latter come out faster. At the least, Black Adam doesn't appear to be in production hell anymore so we hope that it still comes out late next year, in December 2021.
