The Rising of the Shield Hero Releases First-Look at the Upcoming Season 2


In just a few days, the new season of anime is coming. The spring anime season promises to roll out some impressive anime series this year, and fans are very eager to check out the comeback of The Rising of the Shield Hero. The hit series will be releasing its second season in just a few days, and fans got a first look at the premiere at last.

The teaser was released by the anime’s official Twitter account. There are six stills from the upcoming Season 2 premiere that was released to the fans, and you can find some familiar faces here. Naofumi is very hard to miss unless you haven’t watched Season 1, and you can also find others like Raphtalia and Filo in the other stills.

Fans are very excited for the release of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 as the new season will be debuting next week. DR Movie and Kinema Citrus are the ones overseeing its episodes. Even though the series’ novels are completed, There are still a lot of content to adapt thanks to its manga and light novels.

"Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero. Excited by the prospect of a grand adventure, Naofumi sets off with his party. However, merely a few days later, he is betrayed and loses all his money, dignity, and respect. Unable to trust anyone anymore, he employs a slave named Raphtalia and takes on the Waves and the world. But will he really find a way to overturn this desperate situation?"

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 is set to be released on April 6, 2022.
