The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 11 will air next week, wrapping up a polarising Season. Many fans disliked season 2 due to its many differences from the manga. Episode 10 resolved most of the tensions - too quickly and easily if you ask us. Here's everything you need to know prior to the release of Episode 11, the season finale:
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
Episode 10 starts with Emma, Norman, and their friends, old and new, setting off for the farms to save the younger children who are still trapped there. Peter Ratri, Isabella, and the demons know of Emma's arrival and prepare a counterattack.
It appears that Vincent, one of Norman's friends from Lambda farm has defected and betrayed the children so that he can save himself. However, this was a bluff, as he would never actually band with Ratri. Instead, he gained his trust, hacking the farm system at the right moment.
Phil, one of the youngest children Emma had been forced by circumstances to leave behind, helps direct all the other children and they all join our main characters, seemingly safe. However, they are soon ambushed by Ratri and the Sisters, including the newly promoted Isabella.
All seems lost, until Isabella defects, stating she never intended to support Ratri and that she is done with the Farm system. She and the Sisters turn against Ratri. In a turn of events that seems too easy to be believable, Isabella claims that the devices implanted in the bodies of Mothers and Sisters, so they don't have to worry about leaving the farms anymore.
At that point, Isabella is about to shoot Ratri. However, it turns out that reinforcements of demons are coming, which would force the children to surrender. Instead, the newcomers are the demons Mujika cured of their need of blood - who are also done with the Farm system.
Ratri, the "gatekeeper" of the promise made 1000 years ago between humans and demons can't imagine the world Emma envisions. However, the moment Isabella makes to kill him, Emma instead suggests that Ratri can join this new world and live in peace.
The penultimate episode of Season 2 of The Promised Neverland leaves us with too many questions? How did Isabella even get promoted and regained a position of power without having proven herself? What about the actual demons who were the supposed reinforcements? The children seemed terrified at the prospect of their arrival so Norman definitely didn't manage to take them all down.
And what about the Sisters' devices? Were the children really able to deactivate them just by hacking the system? This seems too easy - and there seems to be no conflict left for the finale.
11 episodes used to seem too few to wrap up the season, but with so many events rushed, it now seems there is no material for a Season 3 unless a completely new direction is decided upon. The Finale might give an indication about CloverWorks' intention for the show.
