While Colin Farrell's performance as Oz Cobb deserves the laud from fans especially now that he has his own show, Cristin Milioti's Sofia Falcone stands out for being "creepy af" from the get-go in HBO's The Penguin.

Sofia Falcone Springs A Surprise on DC Fans: She Doesn't Take Revenge Lightly
Oz Cobb (Colin Farrell) made the biggest mistake of his life lying through his teeth to Sofia Falcone (played by Cristin Milioti) on the whereabouts of her brother.
Sofia claimed she had already gone through rehabilitation that granted her freedom from the Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
Also known as the Hangman, she was one of the most notorious serial killers in Gotham City, and there's no doubt that her freedom meant trouble for Oz.
She went to dinner with Oz after not seeing him for a while and even shared vulnerable stories about her family growing up, which included how close she was to her missing brother, Alberto.
Although Oz Cobb ends up feeling guilty for keeping the fact that he shot her brother cold, Sofia finds out soon enough that it was he who killed Alberto.
This led her to use drastic measures to make sure the Penguin could never get away with lying to her again.
Before the episode closes, Oz knew Sofia started tailing on his "plum"-colored car.
Once he woke up, he had been stripped naked, just as Sofia was with the days she felt like an object in the asylum. And she intended to inflict the same fear and shame on the Penguin, which "creeped" fans out to the core.
But that wasn't everything Sofia did in the first episode. When she knew Oz Cobb talked his way out of being shot by her and pointed the gun at the younger witness, she still ended up torturing Oz Cobb, anyway.
What makes The Penguin's first episode even more brilliantly cinematic is the fact that Oz Cobb managed to pull one over her, still, when he made Alberto look as though someone else killed him.
Hence, Alberto's corpse is in the trunk of a car with the word "Payback" scratched right on the trunk's door.
