Do Zoey and Miles End Up Together?
No, Zoey and Miles do not end up together.
Zoey first sees Miles at a seminar and gets interested in him after he quotes philosopher Alain de Botton about romantic love being a modern-day invention and that most people wouldn’t fall in love if they’d never heard of it. Zoey realizes that she and Miles are compatible.
It turns out that Miles is Zach’s cousin, and he’ll only be there for the weekend. So, Zoey decides to keep pretending to be Zoey Wallace and goes with Zach’s family on a skiing vacation.
During the skiing holiday, Miles becomes interested in Zoey. He says that she’s “wicked smart and funny” and asks if she and Zach are exclusive.
Miles admits that he enjoys spending time with her and asks if Zoey thinks that she and Zach are a good match compared to him and her. They kiss, and Miles says that they have so much in common.
The next day, Zoey finds out that Miles actually has a girlfriend named Emily. She confronts Miles about this, but to him, it’s no big deal because they’re in a polyamorous relationship.
Miles then says that while he thinks that he and Zoey are a good match, it doesn’t mean that they should date. He then admits that he just thought they would be a good hookup. This frustrates Zoey, and she later spends the day with Zach.

Do Zoey and Zach End Up Together?
Yes, Zoey ends up with Zach!
After spending an entire day with Zach, Zoey realizes that he’s fun to be with and caring. Even though Zoey thinks that she and Zach are not compatible, she starts to develop feelings for him.
During their day together, Zach and Zoey have a snowball fight, and Zach kisses her after. Zoey admits to her best friend Elle that the kiss felt right. However, she realizes that she needs to tell him the truth soon.
But Elle suggests that she should tell him the truth only after Zach has recovered. That night, Zach notices that something’s wrong, but Zoey just tells him that when his memory returns, she hopes that he will still remember that day and he will still want to hang out.
Unfortunately, when they get back home from the skiing holiday, the real Zoey arrives and claims that she’s Zach’s girlfriend. Zach’s memories slowly come back, and Zoey Miller tells the truth.
She explains that after Zach’s accident, he woke up thinking that Zoey was his girlfriend. While she wanted to tell him the truth at the hospital, the doctor said that he had a concussion and couldn’t handle stress. So, she decided not to tell the truth so that things wouldn’t get worse.
This breaks Zach’s heart, thinking that he and Zoey had a connection that weekend, but it was all a lie. Zoey says that they indeed had a connection and that she thinks Zach is smart, sensitive, and really great. She apologizes and leaves so that Zach can be with “the real Zoey.”
Zoey gets bashed at school for stealing someone’s identity and gets hurt when she sees Zach with Zoey Wallace. She then decides to spend the weekend with her mom, and her mom makes her realize that relationships are about so much more than having surface things in common.
When Zoey gets back, a school party is set to happen, but she decides not to attend. Elle then goes back to their place and informs Zoey that Zach and Zoey Wallace broke up and convinces her to go to the party.
At the party, Zoey grabs the microphone and addresses Zach, telling him that she was hoping they could talk. Zach yells that he’s there, and Zoey goes to him.
Both of them talk, and Zoey admits that she always thought that relationships should be based on data, but later realized that liking someone is more important.
Zoey admits that she really likes Zach and apologizes that she had to lie to him to figure it out. Zach then reveals that he and Zoey Wallace broke up because she is the Zoey he wants to be with.
Both of them then kiss, and students cheer for both of them. When the credits roll, we see Zoey and Zach playing chess and enjoying each other’s company.
