However, the latest teaser for the film bears the August release date once again. This time, it puts the spotlight on Anya Taylor-Joy's Magik.

The film has faced a lot of delays and though it seemed like this August date could stick, the pandemic could likely push back The New Mutants once again. Speculations have long been running about this, with some fans hoping that the movie would rather be released on Disney+ instead.
Serving as the final entry into Fox's X-Men franchise, coupled with the fact that it's a horror-thriller film, fans have been yearning for its release for a while now. However, it even came to the point where the delays have made its release a running joke, with the recent Comic-Con trailer even bearing the words "fingers crossed."
The New Mutants is currently set for release on August 28.
