We already know that The New Mutants isn't going to be like those other X-Men films and is being marketed as a full-on horror flick. This has already been proven by the movie's latest trailer and now the upcoming Marvel film has a terrifying poster to match.
The new poster for The New Mutants was unveiled by the film's official Twitter account. You can check it out below.
It's an awesome poster that is in line with the terror that these young mutants are set to face. Needless to say, we can't wait to see them in action this April.
The synopsis for The New Mutants reads as follows:
"20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents The New Mutants, an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive."
The New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone and stars Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Rahne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) as Illyana Rasputin aka Magik, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball, Blu Hunt (The Originals) as Danielle Moonstar aka Mirage, and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot. Alice Braga will play Cecilia Reyes, who will serve as the young mutants' mentor. The film is scheduled for release on April 3.
