The CW attempted an epic crossover with Crisis on Infinite Earths, and though a lot of people loved the cameo appearances of several Supermen and Kevin Conroy's Bruce Wayne, it was just as corny as you would expect from a CW feature. Either way, the franchise continues to trudge along, and The CW has dropped a new poster which kind of has some Avengers: Infinity War vibes.

While they're not exactly the same, from a quick glance you can feel what the poster was going for. The Anti-Monitor in the poster kind of looks like a discount Thanos, and they even made the lighting look like he's purple. Besides the way the heroes are all lined up, you get reminded of Doctor Strange's teleportation portals when you look at the burning Earth behind Oliver Queen's Spectre.
While the series is definitely campy, the Arrowverse still manages to have a loyal following from fans. With the DCEU still trying to gain its footing, I guess it's great that there's a show out there that gives us iconic DC heroes in an ongoing story. You also can't help but appreciate how they were able to bring back Brandon Routh and Tom Welling's Supermen, as well as offer Kevin Conroy his first-ever live-action appearance as Batman. Even the movies weren't able to pull that off.
For now, Crisis on Infinite Earths is set to conclude this coming Jan. 14.
