The Masked Singer season 12 had its A Peanuts Thanksgiving Night where three contestants performed some hit songs with Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the gang.
The night went as usual with fun performances from the contestants with obscure mascots and appearances of our favorite characters from the Peanuts comics. However, two of them got eliminated in the end. Let's recap below.
Who Got Eliminated in The Masked Singer Season 12's A Peanuts Thanksgiving?
Group C performed some iconic songs with the Peanuts mascots in last night's Week 9 of The Masked Singer season 12 with all of them receiving loud applause from the studio audience.
Panelists Rita Ora and Robin Thicke also performed the '80s classic "You Make My Dreams" by Hall & Oates which was met with enthusiastic response by the live audience and their fellow panelists.
The biggest standout was Strawberry Shortcake's performance of "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Wormack as it was met with major applause by the live audience and the panelists were impressed by her on-stage presence.
Sherlock Hound and Strawberry Shortcake also have a "Battle Royale" round where only one of them prevails and the other one gets eliminated from the race.
By the end of the episode, two contestants were eliminated from the race: Royal Knight and Sherlock Hound. While both of them gave impressive performances, it was not enough for them to stay in the competition.
Who is the Celebrities Behind Sherlock Hound and Royal Knight?
Sherlock Hound is revealed to be retired baseball player Bronson Arroyo, known for his tenures in the Boston Red Sox and Cincinnati Reds.
Thicke was enthusiastic by the reveal as he correctly guessed the celebrity behind the mysterious mascot and he revealed to Arroyo that he is a major Red Sox fan.
Meanwhile, Royal Knight is revealed to be country singer and actress Jana Kramer. She is known for playing Alex Dupre in One Tree Hill.
Kramer has been active in the music scene for several years, so seeing her perform impressive musical performances is not surprising. Some viewers online have also suspected in past episodes that she might be the Royal Knight.
As a result of the double eliminations, Strawberry Shortcake is the finalist from Group C and will go up against the other winners in A and B.
