The Mandalorian actor Pedro Pascal is one of those Hollywood celebrities who just seems so genuine and there's a reason why he's adored by his fans all over the globe. Just recently, fans found another reason to admire the Star Wars actor and it has something to do with his sibling who recently came out as a trans woman.
Pedro's sister Lux Pascal recently announced to the world her true sexual identity. In an exclusive, tell-all interview with Spanish magazine Ya (via Entertainment Weekly), Lux shared her entire transition journey. She said: "My transition has been something that's very natural for everyone in my family. It's almost something that they expected to happen."
She added that her brother Pedro played a vital role in her discovering who she really is. "He's also an artist and has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity."
Pedro would then take to his official Instagram page to voice his support for her sister. In a heartwarming post, the Din Djarin actor wrote: "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux" which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux." Check out the touching post here.
Unsurprisingly, fans of the hit Star Wars series expressed their admiration for the actor after finding out that he supports the rights of transgenders. See some of the reactions below:
It's amazing how Pascal continues to become a beacon of hope in a world where there are people who still find it hard to understand and respect the LGBTQ+ community. The actor's advocacy, if you will, regarding transgender rights is definitely a huge leap in achieving the goal of breaking the stigma surrounding the trans community. You gotta love the man.
Meanwhile, all episodes of The Mandalorian are available for streaming on Disney+.
