The Mandalorian Season 3 has officially kickstarted production last month and while it's a little too early for Lucasfilm to be dropping content, photos and videos from the series' set have already been circulating all over social media which no longer comes as a shocker. Now, it is expected that Season 3 of the hit Disney+ Star Wars spinoff show will shift its focus from the lovable Baby Yoda, who is currently under the care of Luke Skywalker, to Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze's battle for the Mandalore throne.
Speaking of leaks and the Mandalorian tribe, Bespin Bulletin has already gotten first dibs on set photos from The Mandalorian Season 3 and by the looks of it, a new character could debut in the forthcoming season. The aforementioned leak doesn't really give away that much but if you'll pay close attention to the images and video clip, you'll notice an actor who's wearing a Mandalorian suit that is definitely not Din Djarin's.
As it stands, we still don't know the identity of the actor and what role he could play in Season 3 but given the fact that it will serve as an exploration of the Mandalore throne and culture altogether, it's a no-brainer that the show will feature more Mandalorian warriors

It'll be interesting to see how everything changes in the MandoVerse now that Grogu will no longer be the focal point of The Mandalorian, at least for the time being. The upcoming battle between Mando and Bo-Katan will undoubtedly be a turning point in the show. I'm already excited to see it but it's just so unfortunate that we might have to wait a full year before it drops.
The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to premiere in late 2022.
