The Mandalorian Season 2 Teaser Confirms Season 1 Character's Return

It's no secret that Mando will be reunited with Cara Dune and Greef Karga in The Mandalorian Season 2. However, it looks like the latest teaser for the Star Wars series has also confirmed that we'll get to see the return of a mysterious character from the first season.

The new teaser was shared on the official Disney+ Twitter account to promote an exclusive look at The Mandalorian Season 2 that will be dropped during ESPN's Monday Night Football. Although there isn't a lot of new footage in the video, we still get a glimpse at someone who only appeared briefly in Season 1. Check it out below.

In one scene, Mando and Cara are shown in the Razor Crest cockpit when someone suddenly appears between them. It's the Mythrol who showed up in the premiere episode of the first season who was immediately frozen in carbonite. But why is he back and what role will he play in Season 2?

The first season of The Mandalorian only introduced the Mythrol rather briefly but there is a possibility that he will play a larger role in Season 2. The character, who was played by Saturday Night Live's Horatio Sanz, is even believed to be someone who could help Mando find Baby Yoda's people.

For now, details about The Mandalorian Season 2 are still unclear. Hopefully, we'll learn more as the premiere of the second season draws closer.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 30.
