It goes without saying that The Mandalorian has been giving fans some of the best Star Wars content in recent memory but Season 3 has the entire fandom divided. The sudden shift in the show's creative direction has been the subject of discourse over the last couple of weeks, with many questioning the decision to put Din Djarin and Grogu on the sidelines in favor of Bo-Katan Kryze.

Well, it appears that the Mando diehards aren't the only ones growing increasingly frustrated with what's been going on. According to a new rumor, lead star Pedro Pascal has been unhappy with the show which could result in him abandoning the series altogether, despite plans of extending it for at least two more seasons.

On the recent episode of The Hot Mic podcast (via SFF Gazette), insider Jeff Sneider claims that there have been major issues going on between Jon Favreau and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. According to Sneider's sources, Favreau and Kennedy haven't been seeing eye-to-eye for quite some time now and it's mainly due to the fact they rushed Din Djarin and Grogu's reunion.

Allegedly, initial plans called for The Mandalorian Season 3 to reunite the duo but instead, it happened in The Book of Boba Fett. Pascal is reportedly also not happy with the creative decision and the belief right now is that he could exit the show after the latest season.

Intriguingly enough, Pascal no-showed the 2023 Star Wars Celebration in London although he did send in a video message to the fans in attendance. Hopefully, the rumors surrounding the actor's potential exit aren't true because despite the show putting the spotlight on other Mandalorians, he is still pretty much the show's heart and soul.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is streaming on Disney+.
