The Mandalorian Season 3 saw the shocking death of Paz Vizsla, a Mandalorian warrior who's been a recurring character since the show started. The character, portrayed by Tait Fletcher and voiced by showrunner Jon Favreau died an equally tragic and heroic death, sacrificing himself to help other Mandalorians flee Moff Gideon's secret Imperial base in Mandalore.

Season 3 also introduced fans to Paz's son Ragnar, a foundling who is out to follow in his father's footsteps. Now that Paz is gone, folks are wondering what happens to his child but a popular theory suggests we haven't seen the last of him.

Speaking with The HoloFiles, Simon Kassianides was made aware of the popular fan theory surrounding his character. The theory suggests that following Paz Vizsla's death, Axe took his son Ragnar under his care.

It all started when Axe and Ragnar were seen together in the scene where Kassianides' character shouts "For Mandalore!" While the English actor wasn't able to offer a definitive answer, he believes Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni put Axe and Ragnar together in that frame for a reason.

He explains: "I have not heard anything of that. But when you hear about [these fan theories], you think, ‘Wow, you know what? These are the best, you know. I know that Jon [Favreau] is so meticulous, and Dave, that the positioning and that choice to say that line and have that in frame and choose that frame isn’t by accident."

This isn't the only theory centered on Axe. Throughout Season 3, fans were convinced that he's actually the Mandalorian in question who helped Moff Gideon escape the ship that would have taken him to Coruscant for trial.

However, despite several pieces of evidence that could point to his alliance with Gideon and the Galactic Empire, the theory was ultimately debunked in the finale with Woves proving his allegiance to his people.

All three seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream on Disney+.
