The Last of Us Star Teases “Jaw-Dropping” Episode 3 Ahead of Release

The Last of Us falls no short of praise and success on HBO’s streaming platform as it annihilated viewership records for only its first two episodes. Starring The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal as Joel Miller and former Game of Thrones star Bella Ramsey as Ellie, The Last of Us Episode 3 will finally be introducing Billy, who will be played by Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman.

Ahead of The Last of Us Episode 3 release, the voice actor behind Tommy Miller in the video game, Jeffrey Pierce, has taken to Twitter that teases what to expect with the upcoming episode. The actor has managed to take a “peek” at Episode 3 and claims it will “take your breath away.” Check out his tweet below:

This is not the first time that one of The Last of Us stars have teased the show to be “one of the greatest television shows of all time.” In this case, Pierce, as part of the original cast members of the Naughty Dog video game, will also be playing a part in the HBO series. Pierce is set to appear as a new character named Perry, who did not exist in the video game.

Previously, Perry was described as a character who “will unveil things that attach to the game.” So far, The Last of Us has been pretty loyal in its adaptation of the video game, with just a few tweaks of the cordyceps outbreak and some scenes in the series. With Perry’s inclusion in the game, it is interesting how the creators plan to show this character’s relevance in pushing the story forward.

The Last of Us Episodes 1 and 2 are available to stream on HBO Max, with The Last of Us Episode 3 coming this Sunday, January 29.
