Showrunners Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have proven themselves in being the best duo to have adapted the Naughty Dog video game into HBO’s The Last of Us series. Not only has the series gained popularity since its premiere episode, but the streaming site has greenlit a The Last of Us Season 2 ahead of Season 1’s ending. Seeing as the show co-creators are sticking quite closely to the game, there is no doubt that The Last of Us Season 2 is heading the same direction as The Last of Us Part II.
