One of the biggest shows everyone is waiting for this year is The Last of Us and those in New York City are getting a one-of-a-kind experience as the one and a half hour series premiere will be coming to the Big Apple on the big screens three days early.

The Last of Us is probably the biggest series of HBO this year that its budget is even larger than that of Game of Thrones and given that the show is based on one of the most beloved games over the last decade, having it in live-action series adaptation even makes it more exciting.

For some fans, a privilege has presented itself for those in New York City or those who live near because the premiere of The Last of Us is coming to the big screens with six screenings lined up at the Angelika Film Center starting at 1 PM EST until 10:15 PM EST.

Other than having The Last of Us premiere on the big screens, what makes it better is that those who will see it in New York City gets to witness the "2-hour immersive experience" event three days before it comes out on HBO! The event at the Angelika Film Center will be on January 12th!

RSVP details are on the post, however, that doesn't guarantee an admission. The event for The Last of Us premiere on the 12th only allows those aged 18 years and above where non-alcoholic drinks and snacks would be given to the attendees since outside food and drinks are not allowed.

If you couldn't attend the event on the 12th, do not fret! The Last of Us premiere will still push through on HBO on January 15th, Sunday, at 9 PM EST, and there will be new episodes every Sunday until its finale.
