KBS2’s The King’s Affection is still on the top spot in ratings among Kdramas, airing at the evening time slot every Monday and Tuesday.

The King’s Affection Episode 14 sees Ji Un asking his father for a favor to let him stay inside the palace to protect the king. In exchange, Ji Un has to ignore the wrongdoings happening inside the palace.
On the other hand, Hwi and Ha Gyeong spend their first night together after a long time since their marriage. Hwi showed Ha Gyeong honesty when the latter expected that something intimate would happen between them. Instead, Hwi suggests they sleep inside one room but in different beds.
Ji Un continues to lie low while he tends to Hwi’s wounded arm. He tries his best to ignore the corruption that’s already in front of him. However, he fails to shut his eyes off when he discovers that Hwi has been acting on the misconducts occurring inside the palace.
Meanwhile, Seok Jo noticed something on Hwi’s neck. He became suspicious as he found out that there was a procedure that stopped someone from breathing for a short moment.
The night after, when Seok Jo was confirming his suspicion, he finds Hwi and Ji Un sharing a romantic moment by the bridge.
