It looks like Ezra Miller's recent apology is doing wonders for the controversial actor as The Flash is no longer in jeopardy of being axed. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav also proves to be a huge difference maker after ordering the film to rework the entirety of its third act.

Recently, it was reported that test screenings for the DCEU flick have been doing pretty well and it seems to be the first hit under WB Discovery. However, a new scoop from a reliable tipster says the film will undergo major changes in the coming weeks.

According to Syl Abdul who has been dishing out a ton of DCEU scoops as of late, The Flash will undergo a massive script rewrite. The project will also see Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton return to film new scenes but the extent of the reshoots was not disclosed. As it stands, it's also unclear whether or not this new development will affect the film's release next year.

Considering recent test screenings for the film reportedly gave the project a score on par with Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, I'm not entirely sure if rewriting the film would be a gamble worth taking. But if this latest rumor tells you one thing, it's that Warner Bros. Discovery truly means business and Zaslav will do everything in his power to restore order in the DCEU.

The Flash is currently scheduled for release on June 23, 2023.
