The Flash: First Teaser Confirms Major Rumor About Ezra Miller's Barry Allen

I think it's already safe to say that The Flash is going to be the most important DC Extended Universe film to date and it's not even an exaggeration. A lot of it has something to do with the project finally diving into the DC multiverse and the reemergence of Michael Keaton's Batman 30 years following the events of Batman Returns. Now, the Ezra Miller-led project which recently wrapped filming is ready to give fans so much-needed hype as its first official teaser was just unveiled at the second DC FanDome.

Unsurprisingly, the short teaser doesn't give away too much but it gives us all the stuff we need to get hyped. For starters, the footage narrated by Keaton himself offers us our very first look at Ezra Miller's upgraded Flash suit which we can now confirm will be coming out from his iconic Flash ring. Sasha Calle's Supergirl also makes her first appearance in the teaser as she forms an alliance with Allen. Lastly, it confirms previous rumors suggesting that there will be two Barry Allens in the film. We still have no clue what's actually going on but sign us up! Check out the trailer here:

Interestingly, the second Flash is wearing a makeshift suit aka Keaton's batsuit spray-painted red, something that director Andy Muschietti teased months ago on social media. As it stands, it's hard to tell what role this other Barry will play in the film but it would be safe to assume that he exists in Earth-89 along with Michael Keaton's iconic Dark Knight.

I truly have high hopes for this film and while the DCEU is still one giant mess, I know that they can still get things right. I'm beyond excited to see this film.

The Flash is slated for release in November 2022.
