The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Fans Campaign for Sebastian Stan to Get an Emmy

There is little doubt that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 is currently the most powerful episode in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. After all, The Whole World is Watching concluded with John Walker using the Captain America shield to kill a Flag-Smasher when he failed to get his hands on Karli Morgenthau. However, fans believe that Sebastian Stan stole the show with a heartwrenching performance that deserves an Emmy.

The latest episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier brought viewers back six years to when Bucky Barnes was still in Wakanda and struggling to recover after the events in Captain America: Civil War. It was revealed that Ayo had tested whether Bucky still responds to the words that activate the Winter Soldier.

Amazingly, the words no longer have any effect on Bucky. At this point, Ayo proudly tells him "you are free" and Bucky bursts into tears of relief and happiness.

It's an amazing moment for Bucky and fans can't get enough of Stan's performance in the scene. Not surprisingly, people are now campaigning for the Avengers: Endgame star to get an Emmy award for his amazing acting.

We're certainly hoping that Stan gets the recognition he deserves for that heartwrenching performance. Hopefully, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier gets nominated for several Emmy awards soon.

The Whole World is Watching is now available on Disney+. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 will premiere on April 16.
