The Falcon and the Winter Soldier actress Emily VanCamp revealed that her family is unfazed with the injuries she gets when working with any Marvel Studios projects. The actress also said that she has become numb to the injuries.

The actress stated that her character Sharon Carter doesn't have the powers. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she revealed that it has been great until she has to do the fight sequences.

VanCamp proceeded to explain that unlike Captain America, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier, her character doesn't have anything to protect herself with. Sharon Carter doesn't have a steel arm, the ability to fly or have a shield.

VanCamp went on to say that it was interesting that as they were learning and doing the fight sequences, they wanted lesser weapons which made it more ‘bloody' and hand-to-hand combat which leads to a lot of bruises and bloody knuckles but as she said, it was all good fun.

Kimmel asked if the bruises were real and VanCamp stated that they were real. She had bloodied up her knuckles because they were not anticipating the gravel on the ground. The actress shared that when she showed her family the scars she got while filming the MCU project, they were unfazed as no one commented on her injuries. She said that they are used to the stuff she is doing.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's final episode aired last Friday. All the episodes are available on Disney+.
