The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8 won’t be making another appearance until 2022, but it’s going to be one heck of an episode to watch out for.
Luckily, CBS has announced the precise date, and Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah), Detective Marcus Dante (Tory Kittles), Mel (Liza Lapira), and Harry Keshegian (Adam Goldberg) will be returning to our screens soon.
The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8 Expectations
They will most likely circle a few distinct things for Robyn McCall. The most important of them all will be how she manages to juggle her career and maintain some sort of a normal life. Is there any way for her to remain anonymous? Also, what kind of clients will she be working with?
We're sure there will be some external pressure on the writers to raise the stakes, but we don't believe that increasing the number of action sequences is the best way to go. Instead, we expect a number of character-focused stories to help us get a deeper understanding of the cast.
While McCall is and should always be the center of attention, we don't want to make it seem like she is the only character on the show.
Episode 8 Release Date
The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8, will air on CBS on Jan. 2, 2022.
Fans will be able to see the latest episode at 9 p.m. ET. The episode will also be available to stream via CBS.com and the CBS app.
The Equalizer is also available to view on CBS's Paramount+ platform. You can view the CBS series for free for seven days before paying $5.99 per month to subscribe to the platform.
In January, expect at least two or three new episodes of The Equalizer; after that, awards shows, the NFL, and the Olympics may cause another break. Until March, the timetable will be a little strange in general.
The Equalizer is a remake of the same-named 1980s action series starring Edward Woodward as Robert McCall. The Equalizer is played by Queen Latifah in the latest iteration. In the 2014 film adaptation of the 1980 series, Denzel Washington also played Robert McCall.
