What do you guys think will happen on The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8? The investigation is picked up in this episode, and it is directly linked to Robyn McCall since her daughter, Delilah, is caught in one of the shootouts while in a local park. As a result, she suffers from severe PTSD.

The thing is, we have ourselves quite a long waiting time here – what’s going on?

The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8 Air Date

The eighth episode of The Equalizer Season 2 will air on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET.

As is customary, the episode will air on CBS and will also be available online via CBS.com and the CBS app. You can also join up for Paramount+ for $5.99 per month. They are also now offering a seven-day free trial, so if you are a new user, it may be worthwhile to try out the streaming service.

The reason for the long delay is that Episode 7 – titled When Worlds Collide – was the fall finale. Essentially, networks are entrusted with spacing out episodes to guarantee they are available for the entire season schedule.

Nonetheless, fans can expect it to return to the screens in January.

The Equalizer Season 2, Episode 8 Expectations

They'll probably circle a couple of different things for McCall. The most crucial of all will be how she manages to juggle her profession while yet maintaining some semblance of a normal life. Is it possible for her to remain anonymous? What types of clientele will she be working with?

We're sure there will be some outside pressure on the writers to enhance the stakes, but we don't think increasing the number of action sequences is the best way to go. Instead, we anticipate a series of character-focused stories to let us get to know the group better.

While McCall is and should always be the center of attention, we don't want her to appear to be the only character on the show.

Expect at least two or three new episodes of The Equalizer in January; after that, award shows, the NFL, and the Olympics may cause another hiatus. The schedule will be a little weird in general till March.
