What happened in The Dungeon of Black Company Episode 2?
In The Dungeon of Black Company Episode 2, An Un-ANT-icipated Encounter, Kinji, and Wanibe got transferred and it is a dangerous exploration team. Kinji would have to do more despite having his pay reduced as he was forced to do Wanibe's share of the work because he is injured. Kinji is left penniless because he would still have to feed Rim.
Monster ants swarmed the mine and Kinji had to survive so he used a transformation potion making him an equipment manager and elite warrior to the ants but he ended up being trapped as the boss sealed the mine. He realized that he can now talk to ants and understand how they work. He then formed a union with the ants demanding to the Ant Queen for better treatment to the workers.
The Ant Queen wants to expand her colony after Rim went away and stopped eating the ants. Kinji confronted the Ant Queen but she was hard to break as she only ordered them to be killed and replaced. Rim, being familiar with Kinji, is still able to understand Kinji and this impressed the Ant Queen. Wanibe went back to work and they planned to take over the mining company and make their own Dungeon Black Company.
