There is little doubt that all of the villains in The Boys are despicable in their own way but it seems like there is one comic book baddie who might be too offensive for the Amazon Prime series. So what are the chances that Tek Knight will actually show up in The Boys Season 2?
In the comics, Tek Knight is the superhero who is riffed on Batman and Iron Man. Unlike the other heroes, he doesn't get his powers from Compound V, instead relying on technology and wealth. Because of this, The Boys don't see Tek Knight as a threat and mostly ignore him (he's even been referred to as "boring"). However, that doesn't mean this supe doesn't have a dark side, and it's truly dark.
It is revealed that Tek Knight actually has a sexual perversion where he tries to have sex with anything. In the comic books, those "things" include another superhero, a coffee cup, and his own butler's ear. At one point, he decides to fire his own sidekick because he is having, er, evil thoughts about the boy and Tek Knight's final moments in the comics actually involves a fantasy about fornicating with a meteor.
So would this be too much for The Boys Season 2? There is little doubt that showrunner Eric Kripke intends to keep pushing the boundaries with the series. However, it has yet to be confirmed whether Tek Knight will even be introduced in the show.
On a side note, Tek Knight has already been mentioned in The Boys. In the episode The Innocents where Butcher takes Hughie to a collateral damage support group, a woman shares a story of how the superhero broke her spine while he was saving her. This could be the woman in the comic books who was rescued by Tek Knight, which actually led to his own death. Still, there's a possibility that we'll see him in a flashback, right?
