It has been a very long wait but the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett is finally out. But that's not the only awesome update we got from the highly anticipated The Mandalorian spin-off series. Star Wars has just unveiled a poster for the new Disney+ show. Not surprisingly, it features the former bounty hunter with his new partner Fennec Shand and his beloved ship Slave I.
The trailer for The Book of Boba Fett features a lot of new characters who will encounter Boba and Fennec in the series. However, the poster puts the focus on the important trio. Check it out below.
It's just a simple poster but we're loving how it reminds us that behind every successful ex-bounty hunter is a smart and deadly former assassin. It's also great to see that Slave 1 continues to be an important element in Boba's story.
Although we still refer to it as Slave I, Disney has since renamed the ship, at least in some of the merchandise. Earlier this year, it was confirmed at LEGO CON 2021 that it will simply be known as "Boba Fett's Starship". However, it is now called Firespray in a new comic book.
Personally, we prefer to call the ship Slave 1. Additionally, we can't wait to see it again when The Book of Boba Fett premieres this December.
The Book of Boba Fett will star Temeura Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The new series will follow the duo as they take control of the galactic criminal underworld. In addition to that, the show could bring back cool Star Wars characters we have previously met. This includes other bounty hunters that Boba has worked with.
The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney+ on December 29, 2021.
