This hiatus is nothing new for fans of the long-running NBC show, and whatever it is they're playing, it's working -- people wait, and boy, they do so eagerly. So while we're all waiting for The Blacklist Season 9, Episode 6, let's have our fill.

Benjamin T. Okara, the title of the fifth episode of Season 9 of The Blacklist, is a story that is completely centered on the story of Okara, the chief developer of a directed energy weapon, and his team's efforts to improve the weapons that have already caused Okara's horrific tragedy.
A weapon with such destructive potential must be eliminated. The show also had a lot to offer in terms of Task-force and Red, who were continuously coming up with contrasting viewpoints.

The Blacklist Season 9, Episode 6, will release on Dec. 9, 2021. For the time being, there is no official synopsis for the upcoming episode. We also don't have any official previews for the upcoming episode.
However, based on what happened in Episode 5, we may expect the show to focus on the personal struggles and challenges that the agents are now dealing with. Park is going through a rough patch in her life. She has kept her employment a secret from her husband and has yet to tell him about it.
Things got considerably worse for her in the last episode. Park found out she was pregnant, but the baby was stillborn. She broke down in tears towards the end of the previous episode. We can anticipate her to continue to process the surprising news and her anguish. We could also see her and Peter struggling with the fact that she withheld information from him.
Meanwhile, it appears that Dembe and Red have finally said their goodbyes. It'll be interesting to see how the two separate and if they ever cross paths again.
