The Batman, Fantastic Beasts 3 to Resume Filming With New UK Bill

It looks like two major Warner Bros. films will finally resume production after the lengthy delay due to the coronavirus outbreak shutdowns. The UK government and related health organizations have just signed off on new safety rules that will allow major productions to resume in the country.

The Guardian reports that the new guidelines will ensure that the UK production industry can finally get back into business. Although the bill has just been signed, it may take some time to take effect but major productions are expected to resume by July.

This is welcome news for Warner Bros., which currently has two huge projects that are on hold in the UK. The COVID-19 shutdowns took effect just as The Batman moved its production to the UK while the still-untitled Fantastic Beasts 3 was supposed to start filming there in April.
