We're on our penultimate Bad Batch Friday this year and Episode 15 did not disappoint. We finally learn what happened after Hunter and Crosshair got their tense reunion in the previous episode. In addition to that, Finale Part 1 featured a jaw-dropping trip back to Kamino.
WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 15 so PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
In Finale Part 1, The Bad Batch is determined to get Hunter back and it doesn't take long before they realize he has been taken to an old familiar place. Hunter's comm-link comes online and they trace him back on Kamino, where it all began for the clones.
We all know it's a trap as Crosshair and Admiral Rampart are determined to lure the rest of the Bad Batch out to Kamino. However, Omega has a trick up her sleeve: She shows the team a secret platform in the ocean that leads to an underwater tube system, which brings them to Nala Se's private research lab.
Return to Kamino isn't a particularly pleasant one as Omega and the rest of Clone Force 99 realize what the Galactic Empire has planned for Tipoca City. The entire planet is being decommissioned and every evidence of the clones' existence is being erased.
Soon, everyone ends up in the training room where Crosshair has set a trap for them. He's disappointed that his brothers had abandoned him but is willing to give them a chance to join the Empire. He even kills his own troops to convince them, but Hunter isn't having any of it.
All hell breaks loose when some droids attack and The Bad Batch (all of them) work together to fight back. However, Hunter and Crosshair eventually face each other again and this time, Crosshair drops a bombshell: He's had his inhibitor chip removed a long time ago and has been going after them by choice.
It's a shocking revelation but this time, Hunter is determined not to leave a man behind. As the Empire destroys Tipoca City, Hunter stuns Crosshair and they escape with him.
It's great to see that the Bad Batch are finally reunited but what will happen to Crosshair now? We'll have to wait until next week to find out.
