The hit ABC reality series The Bachelor is set to return with its highly-anticipated season 29 next month featuring a new leading man.
Following the success of The Golden Bachelorette recently, the franchise continues to be massive with multiple shows and a loyal fanbase that follows the journey of the featured couples both on and off screen.

Meet the Leading Man of The Bachelor Season 29
Grant Ellis is slated to be the leading man in The Bachelor season 29. He is the second Black male lead in the franchise's history.
Fans of the franchise are already familiar with him as he was a contestant in The Bachelorette season 21 with Jenn Tran. He ended up finishing fifth place. It was announced soon after that he would be the next The Bachelor leading man.
Grant is a 30-year-old day trader from Newark, New Jersey. His official bio described him as a "self-proclaimed mama’s boy" and his "infectious smile and unwavering positivity instantly brightens every room he enters."
He is also a former pro basketball player who is a fan of the Lakers, loves to play at bowling alleys, and belts out songs at karaoke parties.
As the season's bachelor, he is "eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connections" and "hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures."
There are 27 ladies who will be vying for the heart of Grant and hopefully become the recipient of his proposal by the end of the season.
When is The Bachelor Season 29 Coming Out?
Season 29 of The Bachelor will be premiering on ABC this January 27, 2025. It is also set to stream on Hulu.
Just like the previous reasons, the season will likely have 11-12 episodes and end its run around the end of March.
Production for the season took place from September to October of this year. They reportedly filmed in California, Scotland, Spain, and the Dominican Republic.
