Alice tries to uncover more information about Renfred's past. Meanwhile, Fabio attempts to abduct Chise for her Sleigh Beggy powers.
Cartaphilus' fragment inside her helps Chise stand her ground.
Fabio accepts his defeat but makes it clear that he considers Chise a monster, as only murderers are able to see the mysterious plant he showed the class earlier.
Seth, Lucy's brother, finds her crying. Finally, the siblings apologize for having hurt each other and begin to mend their relationship.
Philomena's grandmother, Lisbeth, sends her familiar to formalize Philomena's withdrawal.
However, the headmistress refuses to let her go unless it's what Philomena also wants.
Lisbeth is enraged and continues to plot against the College.

While there's no confirmation about the release time yet, we know that The Ancient Magus' Bride will be airing as part of the Fall 2023 anime season, making it a split-cour anime.
