Teaser for VR Game Avengers: Damage Control Shows Us Iron Man Armor from Wakanda

Fans are eager for the release of Square Enix's Avengers game next year, but Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB are teaming up for this VR game called Avengers: Damage Control. They've just released the first teaser, and it features Wakanda's resident genius Shuri.

Here's the official description:

Shuri has recruited your team of four to test her latest prototype design, a powerful new suit that combines Wakandan and Stark Industries technologies. When a familiar enemy from the Avengers' past seeks to steal the technology for themselves, your team must stop them before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the planet. Fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man, and more in a race to protect the world. Suit up, step in, and save the world in the ultimate Marvel Studios immersive experience.

ILMxLAB is the same team behind the Vader Immortal VR game, so it's no wonder Disney has them working on something for Marvel. We don't have that much look on gameplay yet, but I'm sure some fans are already excited at the thought of an Iron Man armor that was actually Wakandan tech.

With the game set to launch on Oct. 18, it's likely we could get a full trailer with gameplay sometime in the next few weeks. Maybe the studio is just giving the hype to DC this week what with the release of Joker and the Birds of Prey teaser.

Avengers: Damage Control will be available at The VOID locations for a limited time beginning Oct. 18.
