The battle between Takt, Destiny, and Orpheus begins. It seems like Orpheus is a pretty powerful Musicart, considering she has fast regenerative abilities. With that, Takt and Destiny are initially having difficulty figuring out the proper battle strategy. Eventually, they discuss that they need to attack so that there won't be enough time for Orpheus to regenerate as quickly as possible. Later on, Takt and Destiny find an opening to launch a strong attack successfully.

While Orpheus is slowly regenerating, Destiny tells Takt to go ahead. She'll take care of Orpheus while Takt goes to Sagan. Once Orpheus returned to her normal form, she and Destiny continued to fight. Orpheus starts talking about how she'll follow Sagan and his path, no matter the bloodshed that happens. She also looks at Destiny condescendingly, saying she doesn't know anything since she's a newborn Musicart. However, Destiny's resolve remains strong — she's driven to fight, especially for the sake of the people important to her. After Orpheus and Destiny exchange several punches, Destiny eventually lands a fatal blow.

Takt reaches Sagan, who is trapped between the crystals. Sagan starts discussing the pain and tragedy he's been through. It turns out he planned to lure all the D2s in New York so they could be eliminated once and for all. However, this is at the cost of the whole city and continent. Takt thinks that Sagan's plan is dumb since Sagan is just building up sacrifices on top of the other. Takt also talks about how music helped him and saved his life.

Destiny goes to where Takt and Sagan are. She hands Takt her weapon while Sagan accepts the end of his fate. Takt stabs Sagan, and the purple crystals surrounding the Symphonica start to collapse. After this, Takt and Destiny end up lying by the beach. At this point, Takt has lost his arm. They start talking about how they have a lot of work to do afterward. Destiny finally hears the composition Takt has been working on. Takt says he'll take a nap first and immediately falls unconscious. Destiny kisses him and confesses her love before sacrificing herself to keep Takt alive, restoring his arm.

Eventually, Lotte and the others locate Takt. Lotte says he needs to be put into cryogenic sleep immediately. The story fast forwards to December, and Anna has now joined the Symphonica. She keeps the pendant containing a part of Destiny's spirit, which allows her to transform into a Musicart.
