Since it’s the first omegaverse anime to ever receive a single-cour adaptation, there are a lot of expectations that Tadaima, Okaeri will receive another season.

Unfortunately, Tadaima, Okaeri season 2 has not yet been confirmed, but it is possible that the series is simply waiting for its final episode to air next week before announcing the good news.
After all, it is not uncommon for new seasons to be revealed after an anime's first season has concluded.
It has happened in several anime before, including The Apothecary Diaries and Ishura to mention a few, so there is a good chance that Tadaima, Okaeri could do the same.
The potential return of Tadaima, Okaeri possibly hinges on the interest of local and international fans.
The anime has a 7.37/10 MyAnimeList rating, indicating that there is interest from an international audience, although this does not guarantee anything.
However, given the little source material that Tadaima, Okaeri has at the moment, there’s a slim chance that it will ever get a second-season adaptation.
For the time being, it's better to wait until the anime wraps up next week to see if a second season will be announced.
Tadaima, Okaeri Season 2 Release Date Predictions
Should Tadaima, Okaeri season 2 be announced, it’s likely to be released a year from now, sometime around 2025, like most anime that get second-season adaptations.
If so, viewers can expect to see the Fujiyoshi family and their daily lives again next year, probably in spring 2025, like the first season.
But because Tadaima, Okaeri does not have enough source material for a second-season adaptation, there’s a fair chance that we will not be able to see the Fujiyoshi family in two or three years as well, giving space for the creator to work on the series.
Exploring the Second Season’s Potential Story
Because the Tadaima, Okaeri manga lacks sufficient chapters for a second-season adaptation, anime producers would likely need to create anime-original storylines for the series if they did decide to go with season 2.
We would expect the second season to be episodic, similar to the first, as the Fujiyoshi family meets new acquaintances who will most likely influence and teach them a lesson or two.
Who knows, maybe we'll see Masaki and Hiromu's children grow up. If season 2 does happen, this storyline could be interesting to watch.
