In a surprising twist, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Virginia “Gina” Huynh, has unexpectedly written a letter supporting his application for bail—even though she was supposed to testify against him during his criminal trial.

Originally identified anonymously as Victim 3, Gina dropped out just days before the trial began and then completely disappeared from the case.

Now, as Diddy awaits sentencing on two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution and appeals for bail, he shockingly receives Gina’s support.

Gina’s letter to Judge Arun Subramanian was included in the court documents filed by Diddy’s legal team and obtained by Page Six.

There, it was revealed that she now supports the disgraced music mogul’s release from prison ahead of his sentencing in October.

“To my knowledge, [Diddy] has not been violent for many years, and he has been committed to being a father first,” she wrote.

Gina also defended the Bad Boy Records founder, admitting their relationship “was not always perfect,” as they went through “ups and downs” and made mistakes.

“But he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future,” she continued.

She claimed Diddy had made visible efforts to become a better person and take responsibility for the harm he caused over the years.

Now, she sees him as someone who “embodied an energy of love, patience, and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”

“I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community,” she added.

Emphasizing his cooperation, respect, and compliance throughout the investigation and trial, Gina assured the court that Diddy “will adhere to all conditions imposed and will not jeopardize his freedom or the well-being of his family.”

Gina was initially expected to be a key witness in Diddy’s prosecution, but prosecutors revealed in court that they lost contact with her and her attorney before the trial began. Although she was under subpoena, they did not expect her to appear.

A former model and influencer, she dated Diddy between 2014 and 2019.

In various public interviews—including a 2022 appearance on Unwine with Tasha K—she described their relationship as “emotionally and physically abusive.”She alleged that Diddy pressured her into having multiple abortions after becoming pregnant and even gave her alcohol while she was heavy with a child.

She also claimed he emotionally manipulated her throughout their relationship. But despite all that, she is now showing her support for Diddy.

Diddy was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but was acquitted of the more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, which could have landed him a life sentence.

With his sentencing approaching, many are watching closely to see what happens next.
