Superman & Lois Casts the Couple's Sons

After plenty of rumors claiming that Jonathan Kent would be coming to Superman & Lois on The CW, new reports have now confirmed that the news is true, with a twist. Yes, Jonathan Kent will appear in the series but the couple will also have another son named Jordan Kent. This is a big surprise for many since Jordan Kent doesn't exist in DC Comics and it will be interesting to see what this character is like.

Deadline confirmed that Jonathan and Jordan Kent, played by Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin respectively. Elsass' Jonathan Kent has been described as a "clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn't seem dated." Meanwhile, Garfin's Jordan Kent is "wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games."

When rumors about these characters first hit the net, the description of Jordan Kent had many assume that this would actually be Damian Wayne, the son of Batman and Talia Al Ghul. He's the current Robin right now, once teaming up with Jonathan Kent to form the Super Sons in a critically acclaimed comic book series written by Peter J. Tomasi.

Now, they could always give us a twist and reveal that Jordan Kent is actually Damian Wayne and the Kents adopted him after Batman died, or something like that. This is just speculation from a nerd but feel free to @ me if I end up being correct. Either way, seeing two young boys cast for the series has a lot of us curious.

Then again, Crisis on Infinite Earths did confirm two sons so, we'll see what happens. No release date for Superman & Lois has been released.
