After that cliffhanger from the end of DC Universe's Titans, fans were greeted to an awesome post-credits sequence that revealed Superboy and his companion Krypto would be coming to season 2. The fan-favorite character had been a mainstay in the Teen Titans comics since the early 2000s and is a huge part of the animated series Young Justice so fans were more than happy to see him after the dramatic events of the show.

Now we know who will be playing the cloned Kryptonian. According to DC, actor Joshua Orpin will be portraying Conner Kent in the DC Universe show and he definitely looks the part.

Here is a synopsis of the character from DC, so fans know what to expect when he appears in Titans:

Superboy, aka Conner Kent, is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.

This isn't too far off from what fans know about the character so it's nice to see the character's backstory stay mostly the same. Of course, this is Titans, so expect a lot of melodrama, angst, swearing, and violence when it comes to his future interactions with Dick "not yet Nightwing" Grayson, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy.

No release date for Titans season 2 has been announced. The show's first season can currently be streamed on DC Universe in the Americas and Netflix on other countries.
