Clayface is starting to be a fan favorite in Suicide Squad Isekai because of his resemblance to Muzan and his knowledge about isekai and its tropes.

He may be an unpopular movie actor, but it seems he’s getting increasingly popular among fans of the new isekai anime series.

Who Is Clayface in Suicide Squad Isekai? Failed Actor Turned Isekai Hero Explained

Unlike the other Suicide Squad members, Clayface is a real looker who acts classy and polished, as one would expect from a popular movie actor, even though he does not have a successful career.

He believes he is distinct from the others, both because of his powers, which allow him to alter the clay that makes up his body, and because of his understanding of the isekai world.

Even fans are surprised to learn how much Clayface understands about the isekai world and its cliches in the series.

They find him endearing and amusing since he believes he is one of the heroes brought to the isekai world to defend a kingdom on the brink of destruction due to an ongoing war.

From his knowledge about dragons and orcs, an old-fashioned war fought with swords and arrows, to another world hero being asked to help the local princess, it looks like Clayface is well-versed in everything related to the isekai world.

Suicide Squad Isekai’s Clayface Reminds Fans of Demon Slayer’s Muzan Kibutsuji

Clayface's appearance in Suicide Squad Isekai resembles Demon Slayer's demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji, except for the frightening, striking red eyes.

It's not surprising that fans refer to Clayface as Muzan because they look so similar.

Clayface, like Muzan, wears a gentleman's outfit that includes a white hat, necktie, slacks, and shoes. They also have the same wavy hair, as if Clayface's character design had been heavily influenced by Muzan's.

With this, Muzan and Clayface may pass as siblings who were separated at birth. They might also pass for Michael Jackson's anime counterparts due to their clothing, which resembles the legendary pop star's iconic Smooth Criminal outfit.

It is not uncommon for anime characters to have similar appearances, whether on purpose or not.

Sakamoto Days' Sakamoto and Slam Dunk's Coach Anzai, along with One Piece's Shanks and Fairy Tail's Gildarts Clive are just a few examples, but each of these characters, including Muzan and Clayface, has a distinct story that distinguishes them from one another.
